Tip Of The Day! Suspicious Emails, When Are They Safe To Open?
Have you ever had a fishy email and wondered how can you tell if it’s fake or real? Hover over the name of the sender and it real reveal it’s true email. If the email is not from the same domain as the senders website you probably shouldn’t open it. For example if you get an email from Canada Post telling you to login in and pay a fee, the senders email is chaching@gmail.com it’s definitely not Canada Post and you should disregard the email. You can also verify the senders email by visiting their website or looking at your past email from them. But if you make the mistake by opening one of these emails and getting a virus or need help to see if your data has been breached, don’t hesitate to give me a call!
